The results showed that serum aldosterone levels as well as 24 h urine albumin excretion rate are statistically significant predictors of cognitive function (p < 0.05), while SBP, duration of hypertension, years of education, serum sodium and fasting blood glucose levels, PRA and ARR were statistically insignificant in our cohort (≥0.05). Here, ALB is linked to hypertensive disorder.
