In particular, analysis based on the CGGA RNA-seq database revealed, that patients with 1p19q co-deletion LGG had significantly lower ZNF800 expression levels than those in the non-co-deletion group, a clinically significant finding, as 1p19q co-deletion is known to be a molecular feature of oligodendrogliomas, which are usually sensitive to radiotherapy and have a better prognosis than IDH-mutant astrocytomas [38]. Here, ZNF800 is linked to oligodendroglioma.
