Because of its unique molecular structure, CLA can alleviate the symptoms of diabetes, atherosclerosis and many other diseases, such as that t10,c12 CLA can reduce lipogenesis, and c9,t11-CLA has an antitumor effect, making it a health-promoting fatty acid (Fig. 1) (Chen et al. 2025; Dhar Dubey et al. 2019; George and Ghosh 2025; Gong et al. 2019; Sun et al. 2022).
