The NLRP3 inflammasome inflammatory pathway has been observed to be involved in a wide spectrum of oxidative-or age-related disorders, such as autoimmune diseases, type-2 diabetes, neurological disease, ocular disease, age-related hearing loss, cancer, metabolic syndrome, dementia, including vascular and frontotemporal dementia, and so on [78,289,290,291,292,293,294,295]. Here, NLRP3 is linked to type 2 diabetes mellitus.
