CXCL10 and neoplasm: In line with this, our data from a Phase I clinical trial testing a novel chemo-immunotherapy combination show that increased loco-regional CXCL10 secretion serves as a hallmark of type 1, (interferon-induced) anti-tumor immune response (Orr et al., 2022), with beneficial roles in the immune TME (Li et al., 2021; Reschke et al., 2021).
