After adjustment for age, sex, race, and BMI, prevalent insulin resistance was 1.49 times greater in tertile 2 of Apo-B than tertile 1 (PR: 1.49 (95% CI: 1.19-1.88), P < 0.001) and 1.92 times greater in tertile 3 compared to tertile 1 (PR: 1.92 (95% CI: 1.54-2.39), P < 0.001). This evidence concerns the gene APOB and Insulin resistance.
