The present study revealed that HF rats exhibited gut microbial dysbiosis at the phylum level, characterized by elevated abundance of Bacteroidota and Spirochaetota, which directly correlated with increased levels of proinflammatory mediators, including LPS, interleukin-1β (IL-1β), IL-6, IL-17, and TNF-α. The gene discussed is IL1B; the disease is hydrops fetalis.
