The PD-L1 targeting tracer, [68Ga]NOTA-WL12, has been trialled in patients with advanced NSCLC, finding a positive correlation between tumour uptake (SUVpeak) and PD-L1 immunohistochemistry results, suggesting PD-L1 PET before therapy may predict the therapeutic efficacy of targeted immunotherapy [32]. This evidence concerns the gene CD274 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
