Although SEMA6B and SLITRK6 have not yet been linked to breast cancer, SLITRK6 has been identified as a novel biomarker in hepatocellular carcinoma48, while SEMA6B has been associated with poor prognosis and an immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment in colorectal cancer49—suggesting, based on our findings, that both genes may serve as candidate markers of disease progression in HR+ metastatic breast cancer. Here, SLITRK6 is linked to breast cancer.
