More recently, interleukin-targeting biologics such as anakinra (anti-IL-1) and tocilizumab (anti-IL-6) have shown encouraging results in systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis (SJIA)-associated amyloidosis and other autoinflammatory diseases, although no studies to date have investigated their use in EB-related amyloidosis [11,12]. This evidence concerns the gene IL6 and systemic-onset juvenile idiopathic arthritis.
