Following adjustment for age, sex, triglyceride levels, diabetes, and hypertension, partial correlation analysis revealed that plasma TWEAK levels were correlated with TNF-α levels (R = 0.211, P = .029) and Fn14 CpG25 methylation (R = 0.431, P = .008), whereas these levels were not correlated with plasma IL-4, IL-6, or IL-10 (P = .751, P = .079, P = .704; Table 5). Here, TNF is linked to hypertensive disorder.
