A review of the literature shows that most studies examining the relationship between latent tuberculosis and immunosuppressive drugs have focused on the anti-TNF drug group. The risk of tuberculosis is high among patients receiving anti-TNF-α treatment and studies on this subject reveal that these patients should be monitored more carefully.[22] However, in our study, the most commonly used immunosuppressive drugs were systemic steroids, followed by chemotherapeutic drugs. Here, TNF is linked to tuberculosis.
