CRP and bacterial infectious disease with sepsis: Multiple logistic regression analysis showed that the significant predictors of bacteremia were shaking chills (odds ratio [OR] 3.20; 95% CI, 1.53–6.67; P = 0.002), age ≥ 75 years (OR 2.89; 95% CI, 1.41–5.90; P = 0.004), CRP > 10.0 mg/dL (OR 2.74; 95% CI, 1.50–4.98; P = 0.001), SIRS (OR, 2.75; 95% CI, 1.28–5.54; P = 0.010), and transportation by ambulance (OR 2.46; 95% CI, 1.17–5.18; P = 0.017) (Table 6).
