Many studies have reported that the cytoskeleton and cell polarity are involved in the noncompaction of the trabecular meshwork,[10, 11, 12] which is closely related to the occurrence of LVNC.[13, 14] The Rho pathway has been the most widely studied signal regulation pathway affecting the cytoskeleton and cell polarity in recent years.[15, 16, 17] Our team screened the predisposing gene arhGEF18 related to the Rho pathway in the early stage. This evidence concerns the gene ARHGEF18 and left ventricular noncompaction.
