The specific objectives were to assess, among these adolescent series, compared to their preoperative values, the post-OAGB changes at years 1, 2, 3, and 4, pertaining to (a) anthropometric variables [weight, body mass index (BMI), excess weight loss (EWL)%, total weight loss (TWL)%], (b) six nutritional and metabolic outcomes (hemoglobin, vitamin B12, protein, albumin, Ca, HbA1c), and (c) six obesity-related conditions [type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), hypertension, depression, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), and gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD)].
