In that study, the antioxidant and inhibitory activities of aqueous, ethyl acetate, and methanol extracts of F. clypeata were determined against necessary enzymes (α‐amylase, tyrosinase, α‐glucosidase, acetylcholinesterase, and butyrylcholinesterase) targeted in the treatment of type II diabetes, skin hyperpigmentation, and Alzheimer's disease. This evidence concerns the gene BCHE and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
