For diagnostic application, ten genes—IGHV3-43, SLC38A4, PLLP, CELA3A, IGHV4-31, TMPRSS5, TP53, NR4A1, ATF3, IFI27—were identified as the top candidates for dysplasia detection, particularly for distinguishing between NDBE and LGD BE. This evidence concerns the gene TMPRSS5 and Barrett esophagus.
