Similarly, when repeating analyses upon exclusion of late-life depression patients (n = 38, Supplementary Table 7), the associations of plasma VAMP2 [βs = −0.75 (95% CI −1.09 to −0.41)] and GFAP [βs = −0.35 (95% CI −0.57 to −0.12)] with SV2A PET SUVRcomp values were comparable. This evidence concerns the gene VAMP2 and major depressive disorder.
