In addition, silencing CARF in Burkitt's (Daudi) lymphoma cells by RNA interference (siRNA) showed a promoted cell division (Figure S12, Supporting Information), demonstrating that CARF functions mainly as a cell‐cycle inhibitor in lymphoma cells, which is consistent with the clinical observation that low CARF expression in lymphoma patients is associated with poorer prognosis and reduced survival. This evidence concerns the gene CARF and lymphoma.
