Among the human lung cancer cell lines tested—A549, LK-2, PC-9, and H1975—LK-2 cells exhibited relatively higher YAP activity (Fig. EV3E), as determined by Phos-tag immunoblotting, which separates YAP proteins based on their phosphorylation status, with more heavily phosphorylated forms migrating more slowly. This evidence concerns the gene YAP1 and lung carcinoma.
