ERBB2 and Thrombocytopenia: A meta-analysis comparing sequential chemotherapy to six cycles of TC chemotherapy for patients with HER2-negative breast cancer found that using anthracyclines led to an increased risk of nausea, vomiting, mucositis, thrombocytopenia, and sensory neuropathy, but rates of febrile neutropenia, treatment discontinuation or drug-related deaths were comparable.
