LV-HES is considered a reactive condition characterized by the presence of an abnormal, clonal, Th2 T-cell population with abnormal production of IL-5 and elevated IgE in serum resulting in HES and cutaneous manifestations (81%), infiltration in LNs (62%), joints (29%), GIT (24%), and other organs [51, 52].
