Within the CD3+ population, the proportion of CD3+CD4+ T helper cells was significantly decreased in B-ALL patients compared to controls (34.65% vs. 42.9%, p < 0.0001), while the percentage of CD3+CD8+ cytotoxic T cells was significantly increased (38.75% vs. 29%, p = 0.038). This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and precursor B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
