Immunohistochemical staining for Ki-67 and phosphorylated AKT (p-AKT, Ser473) showed a marked decrease in both the proportion of positive tumor cells and staining intensity in the EUSO-treated group relative to the control group (Figures 6C,D), indicating that EUSO effectively inhibits tumor cell proliferation in vivo.
