NPPB and type 2 diabetes mellitus: Semaglutide reduced symptoms in patients with HFpEF and type 2 diabetes, improved physical capacity, and enhanced quality of life (as measured by KCCQ-CSS). It significantly reduced NT-proBNP and CRP levels. There was no evidence of an increase in adverse events, despite the intrinsic risk in patients with diabetes who present with comorbidities.
