The recent GLP-1 RAs have been relatively well-studied in obese women with PCOS; the data in both humans and animals, pertaining to weight loss and visceral fat tissue, insulin resistance, menstrual irregularities, gut microbiota, fatty liver disease, and even cardiometabolic parameters in PCOS, are reassuring thus far [21–32]. This evidence concerns the gene INS and polycystic ovary syndrome.
