Neutrophils, the largest component of human peripheral circulating leukocytes (8), and CD11bLy6C+loLy6G neutrophils have been identified as major myeloid cell infiltrates in LAM tumors from TSC2-deficient uterine leiomyosarcoma animal model, and inhibition of neutrophil chemotaxis and neutrophil elastase (NE) inhibits tumor growth (9). Here, TSC2 is linked to lymphangioleiomyomatosis.
