The results revealed that the shared genes were significantly enriched in 54 gene sets, including Reactome’s degradation of the extracellular matrix, hallmark KRAS (Kirsten rat sarcoma viral oncogene homolog) signaling, and KEGG pathways in cancer, as well as several pathways related to tumorigenesis, metastasis, immune modulation, and cell cycle regulation (File 2, available as supplementary data at Bioinformatics Advances online). This evidence concerns the gene KRAS and cancer.
