Similar to COPSAC2010, AXIN1 levels were associated with a protective effect on risk of respiratory infections, OR (95% CI): 0.50 (0.26–0.98), p = 0.045 and aOR: 0.46 (0.21–1.03), p = 0.059 in the EMIL cohort, which did not have information on asthma status. Here, AXIN1 is linked to respiratory tract infectious disorder.
