Prostate specific membrane antigen (PSMA) is a transmembrane glycoprotein highly overexpressed by prostate cancers, and can be effectively targeted with a Glu-urea-Lys binding motif, a mimic of its natural substrate (Afshar-Oromieh et al. 2016; Maurer et al. 2016; Ruigrok et al. 2019; Wang et al. 2022a). The gene discussed is FOLH1; the disease is prostate carcinoma.
