ACE and glycogen storage disease VI: Routine hematological investigations revealed decreased hemoglobin and elevated ESR; normal liver function tests, renal function tests, angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) levels, calcium levels, and vitamin D levels; a non-reactive venereal disease research laboratory (VDRL) test; negative treponema pallidum hemagglutination assay (TPHA); and a negative Mantoux test (0 mm induration), as shown in Table 1.
