MYC, is an essential regulator of glycolysis by controlling the expression of genes encoding glycolytic enzymes.[40] Compared to MYC, the studies on the regulation of glycolysis by STAT1 and LCK are much less, even though STAT1 and LCK have been reported to be associated with uveitis.[41, 42] Meanwhile, the GSEA of genes differentially expressed in T cells from patients with BU and HCs indicated enhanced MYC targets (Figure 3J). The gene discussed is LCK; the disease is uveitis.
