The FIB-4 index was significantly associated with the risk of LVA formation in the subgroups of males and females, individuals with age ≤ 60 and >65 years, with and without hypertension, without diabetes, individuals with BMI < 25 kg/m2 and ≥25 kg/m2, with LVEF < 50% and LVEF ≥ 50%, as well as individuals with NT-proBNP < 1,435 pg/ml and ≥1,435 pg/ml. This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and diabetes mellitus.
