S100b immunoreactivity (Figure 1B) was significantly higher in AD tissues relative to controls (F (8, 71722) = 5096, p < 0.0001, R2 = 0.3624), as with GFAP (F (8, 71723) = 232.7, p < 0.0001, R2 = 0.02530), with significant variation between cases (Figure S1B). This evidence concerns the gene GFAP and Alzheimer disease.
