When we tested for differences between the persistent and remitted depression groups, we found 7 differentially expressed genes: ADORA1 (Log2FC = 2.36, pAdj = 0.06), CASP5 (Log2FC = −1.27, pAdj = 0.03), HLA-DRB5 (Log2FC = 9.39, pAdj = 9.97 × 10−5), HPGD (Log2FC = −0.94, pAdj = 0.08), LRRN3 (Log2FC = 1.38, pAdj = 0.06), MTCO1P12 (Log2FC = −5.73, pAdj = 5.49 × 10−6) and MYOM2 (Log2FC = −4.14, pAdj = 5.49 × 10−6)(Fig. 3C–I). Here, CASP5 is linked to depressive disorder.
