While there is not much evidence for FCGR2A and FCGR2B’s role in PD blood, Choi et al. showed that FCGR2B can function as a receptor for α-syn fibrils and regulate prion-like propagation of α-synuclein in neurons, and the FCGR2B-SHP-1/−2 signaling pathway may be a therapeutic target for the progression of PD41. This evidence concerns the gene FCGR2B and Parkinson disease.
