It was reported that circRNA MALAT1 promoted the progression of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma by competing with miR-512-5p to bind to VCAM1, leading to upregulation of VCAM1 transcription and activation of PI3K/AKT signaling pathway (Zhang M. et al., 2024).
