Research data show that the expression level ofthe DNA repair and cell cycle control systems genes changesin cervical cancer, including that of APEX1 (Li et al., 2021;Zhang et al., 2023), ERCC2 (Ye et al., 2012; Bajpai et al.,2013), TP53 (Ngan et al., 2001; Zhou et al., 2015), TP73(Liu et al., 2004; Choi et al., 2007), CDKN2A (Hafkamp etal., 2009). Here, TP53 is linked to cervical carcinoma.
