Hippocampal γ-oscillationsare associated with higher cognitive functions, such as memory formationand learning processes. Prior researchhas highlighted the role of γ-oscillation reduction in variouspathological conditions characterized by cognitive impairment, includingAD and other tauopathies. To follow whether Bri2 BRICHOS interferes withTau-induced adverse effects on the hippocampal network activity, weengaged an ex vivo model system investigating the impact on cognition-relevantγ-oscillations in mouse hippocampal brain slices. Here, ITM2B is linked to tauopathy.
