In the study population, CRC stage I tumors were more often GFAP-negative (n = 34, 35.0%), while low-density and high-density GFAP staining was mainly found within CRC stage ll (n = 70, 41.4% and n = 26, 32.1% respectively; P = 0.068). This evidence concerns the gene GFAP and colorectal carcinoma.
