Despite the lack of CD117×CD3 BTCE-induced CRS in huCD34-NSG mice, the obtained results are not conclusive due to lack of cross-reactivity with mouse CD117 and reduced CRS-inducing innate immune cell types, including macrophages and monocytes, in these mice and this needs further investigation in non-human primates and clinical safety studies. The gene discussed is KIT; the disease is congenital rubella syndrome.
