Median blood ANP of all the participants was increased from 8.1 (5.0–9.6) pg/mL to 8.8 (5.8–12.1) pg/mL (p < 0.05), while it tended to increase nonsignificantly in CKD participants alone and in non-CKD participants alone (Figure 6). This evidence concerns the gene NPPA and chronic kidney disease.
