GNRH1 and uterine corpus leiomyoma: An extension study (6 months) (Simon et al., 2020; Beck et al., 2022) of Elaris UF-1 and UF-2 trials, evaluating the efficacy of elagolix, an oral GnRH antagonist, in the management of uterine fibroids-related symptoms revealed the mean lumbar spine BMD percentage change from baseline to be −4.8% in the elagolix alone (300 mg twice daily) treatment group, while the same dose with ABT (1 mg oestradiol and 0.5 mg NETA) yielded −1.5% after one year of treatment.
