TNF and Crohn disease: The immunomodulatory effects of CBP/EP300-BRD inhibitionare highlighted here by the inhibition of MCP-1 (CCL2), a potent chemoattractantresponsible for the recruitment of monocytes/macrophages to the lymphaticcompartment. Moreover, these inhibitorsadditionally reduce the TNF-α-induced production of the pleiotropiccytokine IL-6 whose dysregulation is associated with the progressionof several diseases such as diabetes, RA, and Crohn’s disease.
