Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a highly prevalent endocrine condition affecting approximately 1 in 10 females (1–3), and diagnosed by the presence of hyperandrogenism, menstrual irregularity, and in adults enlarged, polycystic ovaries or elevated Anti-Mϋllerian Hormone (AMH) (4).
