ALB and cirrhosis of liver: Serum albumin (3.4 [3.0–3.8] g/dl vs 3.6 [3.3–3.9] g/dl vs 3.7 [3.4–4.0] g/dl, P < 0.001) and hemoglobin (10.4 [9.25–11.4] g/dl vs 11.2 [9.7–12.3] g/dl vs 11.3 [10.2–12.4] g/dl, P < 0.001) levels were significantly lower in the severe thinness group than those in the other groups, and liver cirrhosis was more prevalent in the severe thinness group (6.7% vs 0.9% vs 1.0%, P = 0.009).
