CRP and anemia (phenotype): The panel highlighted a set of tests of higher relevance, besides kidney function tests, including nutritional and inflammatory markers (albumin, prealbumin, C-reactive protein, ferritin), anemia and iron status (blood cell count, iron, transferrin and transferrin saturation), and the assessment of vitamins levels (D, B9 and B12, plus A, E and C in selected cases), electrolytes and microelements (sodium, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, uric acid, plus zinc and copper in selected cases).
