Previous studies have suggested that LAT3 can be transcriptionally regulated by androgen receptor signalling (23,33) or EGF-activated PI3K/Akt signalling (34) in prostate cancer, while others report regulation of LAT3 by oncogenic MYC expression (35), but these mechanisms have yet to be studied in the context of CRC and response to oxaliplatin treatment. This evidence concerns the gene SLC43A1 and prostate carcinoma.
