Except for a small increase in sensitivity to carboplatin in the overexpressing cells, neither LAT3 knockout (Fig. S2A–B) nor LAT3 overexpression (Fig. S2C–D) in either cell line significantly affected sensitivity to any of these platinum-based chemotherapeutic agents to the same degree as oxaliplatin, suggesting a specific role of LAT3-mediated cytotoxicity in response to oxaliplatin in these CRC cells. This evidence concerns the gene SLC43A1 and colorectal carcinoma.
