The ABCD-GENE score, which integrates age, body mass index (BMI), chronic kidney disease (CKD), diabetes, and CYP2C19 genetic variants, was developed as a pragmatic clinical tool to identify patients at elevated risk for high on-treatment platelet reactivity (HPR) when receiving clopidogrel therapy (Angiolillo et al., 2020; Bittl, 2020).
