Median NT-proBNP levels were markedly elevated in the SARC+/HF+ group (3431 pg/mL (502; 5209)) compared to the other groups, including the SARC−/HF− (381 (115.29; 907)) and SARC+/HF− (675 (244; 2406)) groups (p < 0.001), indicating pronounced neurohormonal activation in the context of coexisting conditions. This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and hydrops fetalis.
